Thanks For Giving Was A Success!

This year’s “Thanks for Giving” was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without you! With support from hundreds of individuals and businesses, we provided much-needed food to over 800 households and achieved 85% of our fundraising target. The impact of this event is felt by many and goes beyond the numbers below. It is a true testament to the commitment and generosity of this community.

  • Fundraising Achievement: Met 85% of our fundraising goal.
  • Food Collection: Received an impressive 62,000 pounds of food.
  • Beneficiaries:
    • Provided over 700 families with essential holiday food boxes.
    • Fed 100 seniors for the week of Thanksgiving.
  • School and Business Participation:
    • Engaged 36 Cobb and City of Marietta schools.
    • Had 53 businesses commit to food and gift card drives.
  • Volunteer Support: Hosted over 400 dedicated volunteers throughout the week, resulting in over 1,100 volunteer hours. Now, that’s sweat equity!
  • Recognition and Awards:
    • Osborne High School received the ‘Blooper’ title with nearly 4000 items collected, the most of any other participating school. (read the MDJ article)

Thank you for helping us serve children and families in need and providing an opportunity for families to keep or create their own holiday traditions.
