Description: To administer and coordinate the development efforts of the organization and create a culture of philanthropy and engagement internally and externally. Plan, implement and set priorities for the organization’s development efforts in consultation with Chief Executive Officer and appropriate volunteers/committees. Provide management and training to staff and key volunteers. Plan, coordinate and implement strategies to develop and engage donors. Participate in relevant community activities to help promote the organization’s mission and programs. Maintain detailed donor records to ensure proper recognition and stewardship. Maintain accountability and compliance standards to ensure the appropriate use of restricted funds. Recommend departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
