The Family Cupboard: A New Era in Choice Pantries

The official unveiling of The Family Cupboard, our new Choice Pantry, happened earlier this month! Attendees of the official ribbon cutting enjoyed a tour and learned more about The Family Cupboard and our new Food Security Program. The Family Cupboard will officially open to the public in January with a soft roll-out of the program beginning in December with already enrolled clients.

A big thank you to Sharon Mason, CEO of Cobb Chamber and the Cobb Chamber team for coordinating the ribbon cutting and for those who attended, including the CFR’s CEO, Melanie Kagan, Jessica Bridges, CFR Pantry & Volunteer Manager, the entire CFR staff, board members Kimberly Reed, Scott Orr and Ted Kallgren, and several volunteers.  A special thank you to Ashley Hill, VP of Community for Junior League of Cobb/Marietta and Natalie Johnson, Manager, Community Affairs, Atlanta Braves Foundation for joining us as well.

About The Family Cupboard: Unlike conventional food pantries that provide pre-packaged boxes of food based on household size, our Choice Pantry revolutionizes food distribution. Offering a personalized shopping experience, it empowers clients to prioritize nutrition and smart shopping, maximizing the value of their food budget. The Family Cupboard will help families achieve food security.

The Family Cupboard will be open by appointment only four days a week. Please call our office for more information at 770-428-2601.
