With our variety of 7 conference rooms (seating for 350 in our largest room or just a 2-person meeting in our smallest room that has a capacity of 12) the Mansour Conference Center in Marietta is ideal for sales meetings, corporate training, annual meetings, special events and more. It's home base

As CFR's mission grew and changed throughout the years, so did our need for space. We wanted to have a home that would not only suit the needs of our clients, case managers and staff, but provide a way to benefit the Cobb County community at large as well. As an added bonus, revenues generated at the Mansour Conference Center help the Center for Family Resources achieve its mission: Moving People to Self-sufficiency through Financial Stabilization, Housing and Education. 

It's flexible space

With this in mind, our 2005 Bold Vision Capital Campaign allowed CFR to refurbish an existing building at 995 Roswell Street in Marietta – still known locally as "the old Sears building" – into a multipurpose nonprofit residency and public conference center site.

Today, more than a dozen nonprofits are located in the Mansour Conference Center, including the United Way of Cobb County and Sheltering Arms Child Development Center. CFR owns and operates the building, and partners with local agencies to find the best fit in our 60,000 square feet of space.

The Mansour Conference Center also hosts more than 12,000 people a year for meetings, conferences, training and special events. All revenue generated through event space rentals supports CFR and the other organizations sharing our facility by covering much of the building's operating expenses. This ultimately frees up more of each organization's funds to be available for their clients' needs.

It's our public face

Since CFR is just one of the many agencies in our building, the Mansour Conference Center is often the public's only view of our organization. We carry over our nonprofit ethic into maintaining a conference center, and emphasize hard work and dedication to detail with our event rental operations just as much as we do with our clients.

We want to make sure that all of our renters understand the truly unique benefit that the Mansour Conference Center brings to Cobb County. With the tagline "Host a Meeting, Make a Difference," the Mansour Conference Center really is one of the best event rental spaces around, because it supports the local community and our neighbors most in need.
