Join the Center for Family Resources in Welcoming Its New Staff Members

The Center for Family Resources team is growing! Join us in welcoming our new staff members, Veronda Williams, Micah Sutton, Genesis Ponce and SaVannah Bronson. Filling the positions of Development Manager, Housing Case Manager and Resource Coordinators, these ladies are a very important addition to our team. We are very excited to  have them join CFR and are looking forward to working together to empower Cobb County families. Learn more about our new team members below:

Veronda Williams
Veronda joins CFR as our Development Manager. She is an Atlanta native and graduate of Kennesaw State University, where she received a BS degree in Anthropology. Veronda is passionate about serving the community and helping others. In her role at CFR, she is accountable for fundraising and engaging corporate partners and volunteers. She also serves on the Cobb Young Professionals Steering Committee for volunteerism efforts.

Micah Sutton
Micah is CFR’s newest Housing Case Manager. A former nurse, Micah left nursing to obtain a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with concentrations in Crisis Management and Trauma Therapy. Working with clients in the community has been where she is happiest. Micah is also the proud mother of four beautiful children and enjoys writing poetry and painting in her spare time.

Genesis Ponce
Genesis is one of two Resource Coordinators. Genesis earned her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University. Ms. Ponce was previously a Foster Care Case Manager for the Bartow County Division of Family and Children Services. She enjoys serving her community and working alongside community partners to help strengthen families and move them toward independence. Genesis is also a proud wife and mother.

SaVannah Bronson
SaVannah is our second Resource Coordinator. She is a recent Master’s of Social Work graduate from Kennesaw State University, and her most recent work experience was through Marietta YELLS, serving students and their families.
