The services and initiatives we provide at the Center for Family Resources are available thanks to the connections and support of community members and organizations that believe in our mission to stabilize and empower families so they may become self-sufficient.
Such connections would not be possible without the work of our amazing Development Director, Kim Reeves.
Kim started her career in the non-profit sector in California, working at United Way in the area of resource development. Once in Georgia, she continued working with the same organization and then with the YWCA of Greater Atlanta before joining the CFR in 2018.
As the Development Director, Kim provides her insight and experience on development, community engagement and fundraising. She is focused on identifying diverse channels of financial resources for the CFR, which may include grants, events, individual giving, corporate giving and more.
Kim’s work also involves building relationships with different organizations and constituents to understand their philanthropic goals and helping them fulfill such goals through a partnership with the CFR.
Throughout her time in the non-profit sector, Kim has met some of the most philanthropic individuals who want to be engaged in the community and are ready to make a difference.
From the time Kim joined the CFR, she has experienced a full cycle of programs, events and initiatives. With 2020 in full effect and the Diamonds in the Garden Gala around the corner, Kim is looking forward to seeing the Gala program come together and the attendees having a great time. For the CFR, Kim wants to continue building relationships with constituents and developing connections that may lead to great partnerships. She will also continue to provide support to the CFR staff at the different events that take place throughout the year.
We are so thankful to have Kim on our team. Her wealth of knowledge, dedication, experience and work ethic are irreplaceable. Thank you, Kim, for all you do for the CFR. We appreciate you!
