Cobb Diaper Day is on September 30, 2019

September 30 marks the day where over 110,000 diapers will be collected for low-income families with infants and young children in Cobb County. Now in its 11th year, Cobb Diaper Day, an event run by the Barbara Hickey Cobb Children’s Fund, will once again provide the Center for Family Resources, and other local organizations that serve families in need, an opportunity to further serve its clients.

Did You Know?

  • Diapers fall under the category of hygiene products, which means they can’t be purchased with food stamps.
  • On average, the cost to purchase diapers is approximately $100/month or more!
  • Day care centers require parents to provide their own diapers.

Throughout the month of September, Cobb Diaper Day encourages community members to collect diapers for donation. On September 30, the donations will be collected at Glover Park on the Marietta Square, will be divided into lots and will be distributed to the different organizations that need them.

The CFR is very grateful to Cobb Diaper Day and the Barbara Hickey Cobb Children’s Fund for including us as one of the organizations benefited during this event.
