The CFR Receives a $5000 Impact Grant to Support its GED Program

On April 26, at the Cobb Community Foundation Partners in Philanthropy Luncheon, the Center for Family Resources was awarded a 2019 Cobb Community Impact Grant of $5,000 to acquire technology needed to support enhanced assessment software and online educational tools for the organization’s GED Prep program.

Such technology will enable the Center for Family Resources to better identify its students’ academic weaknesses and tailor instruction to the needs of each individual, helping to increase student success on GED testing. The Center for Family Resources was one of fifteen nonprofits awarded funding at the luncheon.
