Dust off your gardening gloves, clean out your pantries and hit the road this week to your favorite community establishment; it’s National Volunteer Week! The success and impact of the Center for Family Resources depends on the generosity and dedication of our volunteers. We could never do what we do without them.
Never before has the impact of the individual reached farther in our community. In 2018 alone, CFR volunteers provided 4,622 hours valued at $114,117. These are hours spent helping families move to self-sufficiency with increased opportunities in employment, education and financial support.
Are you ready to give back to your community? Learn how you can volunteer with the CFR and contribute to the empowerment of other local families. Contact us today for more information and learn how you can get involved empowering Cobb County families.
Stay updated on all news and events from CFR through our social media and our blog, and keep an eye out for inspiring volunteer efforts across the nation by following the hashtag #NVW next week. We hope to see you there.
