On March 25, the Center for Family Resources held their awards event to celebrate and honor clients in the housing program for accomplishing goals during the first quarter. We applauded them for attending life skills and job readiness classes, gaining employment, and obtaining a lease in their name.
We even had a little competition where we were divided into teams and given puzzle pieces to complete to demonstrate how working together and communicating helps move everyone towards completing their goals. Clients shared their struggles and successes and thanked their case manager for their support.
A special thank you to our Board member, Brian Wooten, for attending and supporting our work. We will continue to honor our clients and work hard to help them move to self-sufficiency through financial stabilization, housing, and education.
